Armenian National Agrarian University
Faculty of Hydromelioration was formed in 1951 on the bases of "Hydromelioration" specialty of Armenian Agricultural Institute.Later on the faculty has been reformed for several times, and since 2005-2006 academic yearit was decided to form separated specialtes taking into consideration the importance of botyh specialties. In 2009-2013 the faculty was headed by P.S.Efendyan, sinve 2013 doctor-professor G.M.Yeghiazaryan has been working as the faculty dean.
Faculty of Hydromelioration, Land Management and Land Cadastre prepares professional specialists, whoa are of great demand in our Republic.

The faculty trains engineers in the following fields:
Simultaneously to scientific-research works and the teaching process, faculty chairs train post-graduate students.
Professors A.Tarverdyan, R.Minasyan, S.Ghazaryan, H.Sargsyan and others apply much effort to post-graduate students training and management. The chairs and laboratories, training rooms and workshops of the faculty are furnished with all the necessary machines, devices and modern computers for students training.
The faculty has carried out cooperation programs with a number of organizations such as: State Committee of Water Economy, State Committee of the Real Estate Cadastre, Centre of Geodesy and Cartography, Land Management Monitoring, Media Centre, Media, Cadastre territorial divisions, regional, local authorities and Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.
Cooperation is being continued with the Moscow Land-Reclamation Institute, Polytechnic Institute of St.Petersburg, as well as with Kiev and Novosibirsk Hydrodynamic Institutes and Moscow Scientific Research Institute of Water Issues.
